Convoy M21D battery question newbie

Hey guys i just ordered the convoy M21A, S21B and also ordered a Astrolux Ft02s, I am new to the unprotected cells and have heard some horror stories about them. I have ordered Samsung 40T, 50E. Anything i should be wary of? I have a Fenix 4 port smart charger and i am heavy on fenix 21700 and 18650 rechargeables.

Unprotected li-ion are fine as long as you don't abuse them.
