Convoy throwers (osram)

Hello everyone

I've been a long time lurker, but this is my first post/thread. I was wondering if I could get some feedback/advice about the different types of osram emitters. I am a little bit new to flashlights and am honestly pickled.
I am looking for a single 18650 or 21700 dedicated thrower and I've heard good things about the osram emitters. I've been looking at the convoy c8, m21c, m21b. I'm also undecided between the clsnm1 and the culpm1 emiter. I believe the clsnm1 has a tighter beam, but the culpm1 version will have a total higher output with a less focused beam, but will also run hotter, is this true? I want to throw clearly out to atleast 250 meters but judging by beam shots I've seen the clsnm1 has an almost impractically tight hotspot. Needless to say, I'm very very confused [emoji38]!

The new Convoy M21C with Luminus SFT40 throws well and the hot spot at a distance is not too small, but at close range it is about the same as the old SF E2D 200 lm and EB1 200 lm.

Thank you for your responses! I did see the sft40 on some youtube videos and it appeared to perform really well with just the beam profile I am after. Do you know if any of the convoy flashlights come stock with the sft40 or would I need to buy an emmiter, driver and host and build it myself?
