CPF Live Chat

As newbie here I was wondering if there was a live chat app..I searched and saw references to live CPF chat, but they were very old. I also can't for the life of me find Chat in the main menus. Curious if there was ever a chat app within CPF? and if not why not?

There is an unofficial CPF live chat, but it is more like CPFU.

There is a chat it is hosted on an IRC channel. IIRC there are still a few threads if you search for them. You should be able to find something.
