A Seoul LED? Isn't it less durable than the Cree?
I haven't been reading the whole Novatac discussion, I thought they were going to use Cree... A little surprise for me.

"Toughened ultra clear glass lens with AR coating," from the review.

I thought these lights would feature polycarbonate lenses?

No I don't think it's Polycarbonate Lens, the Lens looks flat like glass, tapping it also makes sound like glass, there are no deformations what so ever, also there is an AR Coating looking very similar and much better to as compared with Other AR Coated Glasses. Normally, what I have observed is the Polycarbonate Lens is usually has very very slight budging/deformations, they sound like 'plastic' after tapping.

Thanks :)

Not exactly a flat bed scanner but some of the components of that rig are similar to a "3D" scanner of a HP Multi Functional Device.

The user manual says it is Polycarbonate lens with AR coatings. It does reflect an AR color when I checked it.

I'm not sure about this line in the review:

Below is the chart showing total output levels for various AA batteries in General Mode

If possible could you compare beams with a SF L1 cree and or a Fenix P1D cree/rebel?

:( I do not have P1D CE or SF L1, but i can compare it with P2D CE and P3D CE which I have. I have planned for additional beam shots and will be updating tonight :)

matrixshaman yup, it is in deed, I was kinda confused when seeing such a flat and smooth and perfect (like glass) surface. The AR Coating reflects darker than other AR Coated lights that I have, a sign of good AR Coating i guess.

Re: CPFReviews.com : Novatak EDC 120 T Production Version Review... Updated

There is no doubt. The lens is polycarbonate. It has an AR coating. I often listen to how a "lens " sounds when tapped. If a 'lens is loose it has a much different sound. If you tap a glass HDS EDC it has a very distinct non sound almost muffled. Do the same with a novatac and the sound is very different it produces a much brighter higher pitched almost echo like sound.\
Maybe I will get around to recording these sounds for all to hear....one of these days.
I also have a very favorable opinion of the 120P. It is a very nice light. I will be changing out the "lens" with a UCL just as soon as the get here.
