Sigh...:) I'll be calling today for a 2xAAA body for my Eiger... Pic below from a bit after 8 last night... 72hrs for Matty and EO1. Tasklight at around 107hrs. I went to sleep shortly after, (I get up at 4:15...) and everyone was done this morning. Matty was at .86v, EO1 at .99v. So, some time overnight, they must have agreed enough was enough. I am again amazed by these lights, and the US made Coppertops. I know alkalines are not the best for leaking, but they are more likely to be scrounged than lithiums. Store both, have light for days. Remembering these are 6-10 lumens on a good day, and we are talking super long moon mode, usefulness is to be determined by the individual user. These work for me, moving around the house without waking anyone up, using only the amount of light needed. I enjoy a nice 200 lumen blast when needed, but these can cover most of my indoor needs at night quite easily, with minimal running costs. Looking forward to the next generation of low level lights from Peak! May even have to jump in with a level 1 Eiger with the XP-G to run vs. the Rebel. Thanks for following along! I'll be buying #1 Eigers like they're candy after this. Because of this test, I now have my Eiger in my left pocket right under my wallet, hardly even know it's there. I don't know why I never just carried it before, but what a great companion for my Ra Clicky EDC. It's also better and easier than carrying the spare CR123 that I had in my pocket for the Ra. And, I just ordered a 10180 #1 stainless lug body for my keychain. Heck, I may get real crazy and stop carrying the Ra for a while just to see what it's like...

I haven't seen Scout testing any other lights since this test. Once I get my #0 Eigers I will do my own AAA run-time test with:

* 2 #0 Eigers (one with 2xAAA battery tube)
* iTP EOS 3 mode
* Maratac AAA Copper (L/M/H UI)
* Maratac AAA Aluminum (M/L/H UI)
* Lightflux LF2XT
* Fenix E01
* 47's Preon and Preon 2
* CMG Infinity (with a AAA battery in a AA battery shell)
* Gerber Infinity Ultra (with a AAA battery in a AA battery shell)
and maybe a few others I am forgetting.

Beacon, I can't wait to see the level zero runtimes!!! AAA in AA shell sounds fun, too. I've seen the adapters, but only as a set. AAA to AA to C to D... Do you know of a source for just the one size?
 
Scout I bought mine as a set but they are a cheap flimsy blue plastic. I would also like to get better AAA to AA shells and want to find a source to buy just those size adapters.
 
I'll have to call Curt tomorrow AM to get an ETA on the Eigers, should get here soon I would think.
 
Beacon of Light - any update on getting that #0 Eiger? I would really like to see the runtime on the Eiger vs the Preon since I have a Preon on one set of keys and a #6 Eiger on another set. I might have to put a couple of lower-powered Eigers on my keychains after seeing these runtimes.
