I have been toying with the idea lately of buying 3 mor Thors and building a rack to hold all 4 focused at the same point say 5 hundred yards out?

Am I crazy? Why do I think up this crap?

Instead of focusing them all to a point from a (straight?) rack (and henceforth having to refocus them whenever you move them), why not mount them all in a configuration like this Metal Storm quad cannon?

If they were mounted, base down, on a strip of plywood and then the pywood was fastened between two rigid poles you could pull on the center and focus the beams at varying distances.
