I think the R bins are RED. Can anyone confirm this.

I've checked HERE. It's a Cree XR red LED, R2 is just a dominant wavelength binning (620 - 625nm).

Ah, good thing I didn't wet myself over the subject line. You have to have a healthy dose of skepticism these days...

The funny thing is by this time next year the R2 bin will probably be old news, much like the P2 or P3 bins are now. We'll all be lusting for whatever bin comes after the R4, perhaps the S2, or S3.

Yes, the part number is for a red 7090, not an R2 binned XR-E. :mecry:
