Cree XRE's in keychain sized lights?

$7 for a SMJLED in a keychain light.
The SMJLED (uncut) is $4.50 at the Shoppe. For the more handy CPFers......it's mod time!

Lighthound has a keychain light they claim is "brighter than Arc AAA Premium"

I just asked about it in another thread but so far no responses.

I think the button cell lights such as the Streamlight Keymate might make a better host than the 2x2016 keychains for the XR-E. Batteries are easier to change too.

I would be very happy with something like the E1/LOP with a CREE in it. For me that is a nice little size and I like the style of the light.

The L0P with three outputs would be great. 2 lumen low, 10 lumen medium and 40 lumens high for settings would make a great keychain light. Hopefully, Fenix don't screw it up by making the 10 lumen level come on first.

The Pelican L1 looks like a candidate except for the poor guarantee that does not cover "sharkbite, bear attack, or children under 5."
