I know the 6 mode Q2 drop in in the dealer's section is by far the brightest around that I have encountered.

I have a Decree but the 6 mode Q2 drop-in on high is significantly brighter (and thats only 160 lumens).. I know the D-mini throws like nobody's business and there's the new offering by lumapower and that the DX C2 and U2 are also very bright and great value for money...

Question is... are there any more combos that I might have missed?

I'm talking about any light/drop in/combo that is 6Pish in size, runs on 2XRCR/17670/18650 and pushes past or close to 200 lumens??

Hi Tessaiga, I too am looking for a suitable partner for my M2. With the current offering, WE, 6 mode Q2, Litemania's, Dealextreme's....are there any more? Can't really buy em all as 1 is really needed right.

Most manufacturers are merely quoting the bulb lumens of the emitter. A Cree P4 is rated at 210 lumens when driven at 1A (I think the corresponding fig for the Seoul is 240 lumens). What you really get out the front would depend on the board, the resistance of the host, the reflector, lens etc.

I just ordered the Lumens Factory HO-9 High Output 9V Lamp - 320 Lumen
which is a T 1-1/2 Lamp size so it should fit the Sure Fire 6P and it specs. are 7.6V and 1.551A.

Will run 2 of AW's Protected R123A ( 750 mAH ) 3.7V that charge to about 4.2V and have a max. recommended continuous discharge rate @1.5A ( 2C )

So I think this will give me about 190 - 200 Lumens for about 30 min.

I also ordered the Cree XR-E LED 3.7V-13V D26 Lamp *High Output* to see how that performs with same batteries.
