I recently purchased the A8-Q5 and love the throw and great regulation on an 18650. The only thing it's missing IMHO is a different head+reflector for flood (without touching the LED and driver). AFAIK, Tiablo does not offer anything like this, so do I have any other options other than having a head custom made?
Also, can anyone recommend a good reflector for the job? Being new to all of this, if it's too involved I might look into going with a custom built light instead, but I'm definitely interested in trying to mod the A8 first.
WRT flood, I'm looking for something between a Mule and the Milkyspit L2 (even though the A8 has a Cree instead of a Seoul) seen in the following link: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=168545
