Had a look at the Lumens Factory website and found that soon they will have these D36 heads available that will fit a lot of my lights. About time that this has happened, I am a great fan of this size reflector/lamp and up until now I could only enjoy these on my Rattlesnake. I wonder if LF will follow up with a few IMR D36 lamps in the 9V and 13V.

I'm going to be pretty frustrated if they don't follow this up with some IMR bulbs to suit the heads. If the only reason they weren't introduced with the D26 bulbs was the absence of an OEM light with the D36/twisty combo, well... problem solved

It would be nice if they will make them the same as the IMR M3T for two cells and the IMR M6 for the three cells, except that in the D36 these would be more floody with the traditional clean even beam........we shall see.

Yes Winston, it would be stupid not to make D36 IMR lamps with the D36 head out.

And yes Cernobila, it would be using the same tried, tested and loved IMR-M3T (9V) and IMR-M6 (13V) lamps. And yes again, the M3T lamp is a bit more floody with the D36 reflector, but it is still very throwy on the M6 lamp.

Cheers.

Excellent........the only other question is.......when for both, the head and the lamps?
