That's right.
i just received the premium P1D CE Q5 & the L2D CE Q5.
The L2D Q5 appear brighter than the P1D CE Q5.
The P1D CE Q5 output is the same as the P1D CE that i modded to WG Q5 previously (sold to a friend) but still no regret owning another one with different body colour (mine is silver)
I should have bought the L2D CE long time ago but my patience paid for as they come up with the Q5.Really surprise me on the output.
Everybody in the world should have the L2D CE Q5 due to the cell availability,no doubt and the output is matching with single cell li-ion light or in that category.
Cheers to Fenix :twothumbs

Yep, good call.

Even my plain ol' Fenix L2D-CE P4 version is sweet ! :)

And you can't beat the convenience of AA cells.

Yup, I bought one just a couple of weeks ago and like it so much I just ordered another. For me, the L2D/Q5 is truly the "Leatherman" tool of flashlights.

Will be using NimH Hybrio's kept charged with the Maha C-9000 charger.

yea nothing wrong with the l2d body.
right now i have the good old l2d ce
just got the l2d rebel 100 and
l2d ce q5.

one or more of those better go up for sale soon, the wife doesn't like to see redundant $60 flashlights, lol.

Nice light. I love my L2D for all the same reasons, although I have the "old" and "dimmer" R100 version of it ;) Happened to get one with a slight rose tint so I won't be giving it up soon.

I usually choose the L2D for travel. AAs so easy to find.

Yes it DOES feels like single lithium light
L2D is always my favourite light.

My L2D-RB 100 has USxxxx number but no serial number on the manual like they did on L2D-CE. I also checked my P3D-CE it has serial number on the manual. So mine doesnt have serial number?

thanks.

I just got a P3D Q5. I love this light. However, I'm going to be recommending the L2D Q5 to several people based on the battery issue. You can get CR123s for a reasonable price online, but most non-flashofetishistas like to buy batteries at the grocery store where a single CR123 costs more than a 4 pack of D Cells.

I got the P3D 2 days ago and I now have respect for LED lights.
