I know this has probably been said many times, but I wanted to express my satisfaction as well.
I recently purchased a Dealextreme Cree P60 drop-in for my G2. And I couldn't be happier with it!
The tint is nice and white, with just the slightest hint of yellow to warm it up ever so slightly compared to my perfect-white L4. Good hotspot with plenty of usable spill, good throw, and easily as bright or brighter than the original P60. And it runs extremely well on my AW rechargables.
I do have a slight gap (<1mm) between the base of the bezel and the flange of the body, but it's barely noticable and shouldn't affect performance in the least.
Considering that this module costs about half the price of a replacement P60 from Surefire, and should last many times longer, this is probably the best deal in flashlights out there. I know there are some more expensive drop-ins with more features available, but you just can't beat the value of this little gem.
