Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but does anyone know the screw size in the tailcap of the Dereelight CL1h v3.0? Is it a metric size? This will help narrow down the choices when I go hunt for one at Home Depot.

I noticed that my light doesn't have this screw and wondered if that's why the light works intermittently with a 18650 battery. I sometimes have to shake the light or twist the head to light up (haven't tried the CR123's to see if still happens).

I asked Alan what the screw is for and do I need it.
Here is his reply:
Do not need screw in the tailcap anymore, negative towards tailcap.

So it must have been used when the positive end of the battery
made contact in the tailcap!

Make sure the head is tightened. Mine was not tight all the way and I
expeirenced the same thing.
