What is the best way to clean a G-10 scale. I recently purchased and extra scale. It is a textured red G-10 scale that has a white residue build up. Most of the pictures I have seen are bright and clean. This one seems dull. What is the best way to clean them?

Thanks

Start off with soap and water and a scrub brush.

If it's a darker color a rub down with mineral (baby) oil will really enrich the appearance.

G10 is tough stuff, so once cleaned up and oiled it'll be beautiful.

+1 soap and water. Then put Wahl Clipper Oil all over it an let it sit for 5 or 10. That's the best stuff out there for G10, and believe me, I've tried it all!

The very same! It works the best, it's cheap, and it seems to keep G10/G11 and Micarta looking better, longer!
