Dive Light Lenses

Hi



Tried to order some Glass lenses from McMaster Carr for a dive light project only to receive the following message:



Due to the ever-increasing complexity of U.S. Export regulations, McMaster-Carr has decided to only accept orders from a few, long-established customers of ours overseas. We will not accept your order and regret any inconvenience this causes you.



Your order has been cancelled.

From reading threads within this forum and many hours searching i've finally found what appears to be the best lense solution for dive light projects only to be blocked :fail:!!!

Any ideas how I can get these lenses delivered to me in the UK ??

HI

i ended up using a mail forwarding address in USA but this worked out to be a very expensive option !!!!! I'de advise anyone considering this as an option to look carfully into all the costs involved.
I've also ordered lenses from the web link you gave above and they are just as good and a lot cheeper for delivery to the UK !!!

My only problem is the design I've worked up best suits the lense sizes offered from McCarr Master. I've put a lot of time into CAD design and programming a CNC lathe etc so it'll be quite a bit of work to change over to different dimmensions so I'm not sure where to bother or not !!
