Hi, all
Ive been making small dive lights which can be put in my BC pocket.
This is one of them.
The light is produced by putting a Cree R2 LED pill (Dx: SKU 11836) into a C6 casing (Dx:SKU15969).
its length is about 15cm smaller than MTE P7 light (left).
it is a very bright and tight beam light.
left: MTE P7 light right: this light
The sealing method is same as previously reported.
it is somewhat difficult to replace the tail cap switch because of its smallness.
This is a key stuff i made: a new toggle switch
run time is about 2h30min.
its cost is 2USD (for a toggle switch 1.5USD, a yellow cap 0.5USD).
i had two dives with this light max 19m & 24m depth and no leak.
beam shot under the sea
hotspots: left: DIY P7 light, center: this light, right: another DIY P7 light
it is a nice EDC (every DIVE carry) light.
you can see more pics here (FLICKR).
Thank you.
