Do ebike battery's have a great in period?

I mean say my ebike battery new is 14 Miles range will it improve to say 17 miles as it gets charged more?

There has been talk on diysolarforum about a slight increase in capacity with lithium ferrous phosphate batteries but that is not what you are using. Why do you ask?

Remember that not discharging too deep and leaving it that way for a while is good practice. Not fully charging it and leaving it that way for a while will also extend battery life. Not getting the batteries too hot is better as well.

From what I have read, folks in China were buying inexpensive electric scooters with dangerous batteries. Some of them were igniting from internal shorts while parked and not charging.
