I see that there are some LED towers to replace the SureFire TurboHead lamps. One of them from yclo is shown with a stem height of 0.790" for the Seoul P4: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=167309
The Seoul web site docs for the P4 show that the emitter height above the slug is 2.68mm, or 0.094". That would seem to say that a TurboHead filament is 0.884" above the lamp's flange.
But the Arcmania towers sold by AW have a stem height of about 0.805". That gives an total height of the P4 emitter of 0.899".
How sensitive are TurboHeads to filament or LED die position? Are these LED tower modules basing their height on a measurement to the top of the filament, the center of the filament, the bottom of the filament?
