Does the McTC/McClicky tailcap compromise tailcap water resistance on an E1e?

I've just added a McTC/McClicky to my E1e, great tailcap, but i was wondering if the tailcap compromises water resistance at all, it seems to be a hair wider than the stock SF clicky tailcap

does the McTC increase the chances of water intrusion?

I'm curious to know so myself, not that I would go swimming or diving with my flashlights. Seems like McGizmo's lights hold up fine under water with those picture shots he has posted. Maybe these work fine or better on them Aleph bodies and McGizmo's than SureFires?

LiL thicker O-ring maybe ? It might take out some of the slop on the new tailcap.
