Drop in Help?

HI guys.

I need some help with drop ins. I'm looking for some good quality LED dop ins for my Mag-lites 2D & 6D to beef them up. Any suggestions?

Also would like to get any advice on rechargeable battery types for my SF C2 with WE D26 HO 170 lum drop ins. I don't want to fry my light and am not sure which rechargeables are safe to put in there. I would appreciate any advice. I've never used rechargeables before.

Malkoff devices drop in for the 2D, it might take a while to get one.

The Terralux SSC drop-in for the 6D, or the malkoff drop-in(max of 4, 1.5 volt battery) with 2 dummy cells.

If it is your first time using Lithium rechargeable batteries, I recommend buying protected batteries. Unprotected batteries can be over charged and over discharged, that will damage the battery. A protected battery has a circuit to prevent against over charge and over discharge.

Thanks for the info guys. I,m waiting for the Malkoff drop ins to be available. Hope to get my hand on one sometime in the near future
