This is E0 Beamshot with 1.5V alkaline at same camera setting as the E01 with 1.2 Eneloop below.

Two more attempt to show you guys the depth and width of these heads.

Pros:
1. Very nice feel in the hand. It is heavier than the E0.
2. HA looks and feels like the ARC.
3. Smooth operational with the twisty.
4. Great throw and is about 3-4x brighter than E0 to my eyes.
5. Thicker barrel give you a feeling of quality.
6. It is cheaper than the E0 :twothumbs.

Cons:
1. The beam is not smooth with a hot spot looks elongated.
2. Could tail stand but not as stable compare to E0
3. The anti-roll - what anti roll?

All in all, I think I will get one for each colour .

Edit: Size reduced.

Nice pictures! :) The E01 looks bigger than I expected when compared to the E0, but I like it! I'm kinda suprised how the HA looks like the ARC's HA. It looks like some tough HA, guess we'll see how it holds up on a keychain once we get ours and can carry them.

I like the way Fenix recessed the LED, unlike some other AAA light manufacturers. This design should prevent getting a way off center emitter (crooked) and it looks like it produces a nice clean beam.

I have two on pre-order, an olive and a black. I have to say the olive looks really good! I'm sure the black will be sweet. These pictures make me want to order the other colors now!

Thanks for the nice pics. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting my olive E01. The E01 is brighter, but I think I like the more diffuse beam of the E0.

Bet there will be a LOT of us doing exactly the same thing !

Hey Fenix --

You'd be smart to offer these "branded" for Major League Baseball teams,
NFL, NBA, NASCAR teams, etc.

They'd be hotter than State Quarter collecting !

I suddenly think it'd be fun to shoot these lights with a wrist-rocket
straight up AND measure flight time and visibility at night.
Of course they must survive the landing impact to pass the test.
-and hey, it could yield good data:naughty:

Fenix E01 & E0 congrats on a truly nice design.
