EDC shed light on drinking problem...

This weekend i joined a boat trip on a more than 100 year old steam boat.
It started after work, and with only 6 knots top speed, it was past midnight before we were on our way back home.

Long story short: After 24:00 it gets dark....very difficult to find your own beer...and some difficulty spotting the cute co-workeresses .
Then someone asked if anybody had a flashlight, and I suddenly remembered that I had one in each pocket....(dont even thought about it until someone asked...)
So I rigged up an E1L and a Fenix to light up the front deck.
That helped the others with their drinking problems...

(then i spent some minutes explaning that, "no, it`s not one of them Maglites"
and that their size do NOT reflect on the price....)

Reminds me of the time a couple friends of mine(CPF members of course) rigged up some flashlights to illuminate their beer pong game outside at night. The pong table was about 10ft. outside their front door, and they set the lights up on a second story window facing downward towards each end of the table. Shining down on the left side was a KT1 turbohead with a custom SSC P4 tower module diven at 1amp on a pair of 17500's, and on the other side was another SSC P4 in a chopped Mag body driven at ~850ma by one 18650.

Funny sidenote: The captain on the steemboat said that if anybode fell over board, we should throw them a BIG spanner so they had something to hold on to...(dont`t know if this was after he was told we all work with tax collection...)

At least I had my EDC, and it came in handy.

No, in the land of expensive beer its every man for him self...(70$ pr litre, for inexpensive whiskey).

And after whipping out two lights, everybody just seems to think you are kind ow weird..

After all, 99% don`t EDC a flashlight, so you are NOT like everybody else, and therefore not normal.

At Lighthound they say they have the Fenix P3D HaIII-natural in stock.
I`m thinking about getting a P3D to replace my SF E1L as EDC....
I dont`t need one but want one. But is there any other lights I should consider?
