Does anyone knwo what's the max discharge current from Energizer Lithium CR123? Can is got as high as NiMH at 4C?

No it's only 2C at absolute max.

If it's discharge rate you need, look to LiMn 123 cells, they'll cruise comfortably at 8C/4+ amps..

I just saw the spec sheet on energizer's site.
It says 1.5A max continueous discharge rate and 3.5A pulse. So is it still safe to use it at 2C, that is 3A discharge for flashlights?

Yes this is correct. What StarHalo is talking about is the new IRM rechargeable cells if you want really crazy discharge rates:thumbsup:, but as we have stated 2C is what you can expect out of any ordinary CR123 battery
