Everready mod question

Are you instaflashing the bulb? 10.8 is a lot to run through a 6 volt bulb. Try this with a KPR118 7.2V bulb and see what's happening.

Hate to say, but don't bother with the mod. I made one and used Duracell's and while I was telling myself that this is "nice" I started to notice the hotspot change shape. I shut it off and seen the reflector and lens had started to melt after only about 5 minutes. It sounded like a sleeper light but is really a pipe dream. I learned an inexpensive lesson again. Don't believe everything you see. :shakehead The KPR112 works with primaries but rechargeables are too much, still gonna melt down.
