I do not post many evaluations and recently I have been living by the glow of hot wire mods but tonight I slipped back to the LED world.
I think about an hour ago I found my new favorite light. I placed my order 6 days ago and in the S.W. USA tonight I got my package. This is the brightest single AA size light I have had around here ever, but I will say all the others were lithium or alkaline powered and were all 3 watt lux III clones or 1 watters. Tonight I got an UltraFire C3 Cree from Szwholesale, you know Dae's retail site partners, this light http://www.qualitychinagoods.com/ultrafirereg-cree-1xaa36v-rechargeable-p-615.html . It is a Cree on 14500, 3.6v lithium and the beam is great. It compares in size to this shot of the 18w K2 which I think is about the brightest 2x cr123 light around, seen in beam shot here:

Only the K2 18w and I was really surprised the beams were very similiar in size of spill and hot spot; the k2 is brighter but I believe the C3 is at least as bright or better than the 7w which is a lux III clone. I will try that comparison next week.
This light came with a very nice holster with a plastic D ring, a lanyard. It has a stippled reflector to even out the beam and it has a very nice clickie and the main body indents so I can use it between my fingers. Speaking of which is it no bigger than my index finger. Now it hangs around my neck. I am going fishing, see ya.
