I just received a "Fenix L0D-CE-Q4 Premium" from "Fenix Flashlight Store" on Amazon. The light says L0D but the package says "L0D Rebel 100" and "75 lumens". Go figure.

I bought it because you guys spoke highly of it and I needed a flashlight fix.

I liked it right out of the box, but I ***really*** liked it when I discoverd that it has a push momentary which can easily cycle through the modes. The momentary is not mentioned in the Fenix adds I've read and I did not see it mentioned on CPF.

I guess this is old news to you guys. But it was a VERY pleasant surprise to me.

Well if you unscrew it just enough it has kind of a pull momentary! :naughty:

Maybe he meant L1D, and ended up with the forward clicky?

Push monentary? I don't think you purchased a Fenix LOD.

Would you be able to post a pic of it?

I don't have my computer gear set up for pics, but I assure you guys, the light is a Fenix L0D. It says so right on the light itself. It looks like any other L0D. It uses a single AAA. And it has a spring-loaded push momentary.

The way the momentary works is this: You unscrew the light until it is off. Then you can push the back into the headpiece with your thumb. The travel is about 1/32", so it is NOT thread play I am talking about. This seems clearly to have been designed to do this. The action is very positive; it's not a fluke. You'd need to see a video clip to "get it".

Anybody know a Fenix rep we can verify this with?

Fenix L0D do NOT come with a momentary action other than thread play.

RB100's were also ONLY ever available in Japan, which further compounds the matter...

You don't have a digital camera, scanner, cellphone camera, ANYTHING??

Did he meant if you push the head against the body hard enough you can make contact and turn it on?

Other than that, I'm really

Are you sure? Does it look something like this? :naughty:

Mine does the same thing. Unscrew it just enough and then you can compress the body into the head and it will come on momentarily.

Mhm could 4sevens accidentally sent the guy his fenixstream? Or does the guy just used it how I sometimes do pull head into body and since there's a spring in there it could be a spring loaded momentory
>pull>

Amazon, not Fenix-Store.

I can make one of those short videos with a digital camera. But even the few seconds it would take to cycle through the five levels would produce a HUGE file. If you tell me how I can make it available to you with reasonable effort, I'll give it a whirl.

I suppose this "feature" could be a crazy coincidence of exacly the right amount of thread play. But the action is SO positive it would be a HELL of a coincidence if that's it. I've never seen a 1/32" play in a fine thread. And the body doesn't "jiggle" very much either. It just pistons right into the head, as they say in poolrooms, "like it had eyes".

Hell of a thing.

Thread play

What they all said.

The LxT series lights do the same thing if you unscrew the head so its just out of high, you can compress the head to the body and high will come back. Nothing hidden its just loose threads.

I have 4 LD01/L0D's and you can do this with all of em, it doesn't take much play at all, just unscrew until it just turns off then a tiny bump will light it up.
