Fenix l2d colour differences

I purchased a second Fenix light today to use for Cycling but the colour is very different from my original l2d. My original is very white with a slight hint of blue. My second is very yellowish in comparison. Is it common to have such a difference in colour? What colour is preffered for cycling?
The original light appears to penetrate the yellowish beam.

Are both L2D the exact same LED bulb? Maybe the second one is a Rebel?

The infamous LD lottery. Every LED is slightly different from the next, even from the same batch.

I don't know but I prefer the yellowish tint.

I would prefer to use the first L2D. The whitest one.

According to my experiences yellow tint is better than blue for MTB (and warm (reddish) tint is the best). But you should try it yourself

Its more white than blue where as the yellow is a yellow.
