I have a Fenix L2D Q5 and the lanyard broke. I have emailed 4stevens about this twice over the course of two to inquire if the warranty covers this sort of thing and if not, where can I buy a new lanyard? I have yet to receive a response.

Does anyone have an suggestions where I can find a new lanard?

Thanks for any info,

You can order a wrist lanyard from lighthound.com. I never liked the wrist lanyards that come with Fenix flashlights. I prefer to run a Size 6 split ring through one of the lanyard holes in the flashlight, and use my own paracord lanyard.

i had the same experience with my L2D lanyard; if theres one thing to be dissapointed about fenix its the quality of their lanyards :thumbsdow

To be honest, the weight of a L2D is too much for the little string.

You might want to consider using the split ring and making a loop of paracord through it.

Currently, customer support at FS is taking more than a week. 2/3 of them are sick and the store owner is on the road.

Call Fenix store directly. They are slow to respond to emails. I am sure they will send you another Fenix lanyard. I asked for one when I bought an EX10 from them, because I don't like the heavy lanyards that come with the Nitecores. They sent me a Fenix lanyard at no charge.

Thanks for all the info and responses. I think I'll get a ring to put the lanyard on this time to see if that makes it last longer.

This kind of lanyard is my favorite, simple and effective.
