fenix ld2 broken

i have a fenix ld2.with new batteries the torch setting will stay on for 3 sec to 1 min.than it always drops of or goes out.i have cleaned it and replaced batteries all kinds.do i new a new light.it is 3 years old.

Is this for all modes? Are you using alkalines, Ni-MH or Lithium AA's? If alkalines, and turbo mode, it may just be that they can't sustain the current draw, and thus the light goes out.

Have you dropped the light in recent memory? If so, the driver may have been damaged, thus causing your problem...

i have used all types of batteries.it lights turbo for 3 sec, to 1 min and than drops down.i have drop it from 3 feet to floor.
