Fenix P3D Olive Finish Textured Defective???

Over the weekend purchased 3 Fenix P3D's Olive Textured from 4 Sevens, on clearance, later went to the Fenix Store and saw that the P3D Natural had been discontinued due to problems with the LED. Then read seveal threads here on the issue. Should I expect the units purchased to have potential problems?

Highly unlikely. The issue with the Rebels was a loooooong while back.

The Fenix P3D that were on sale where not the Rebel model. The model sold was a FenixP3D CE (Cree 7090 XR-E LED)

Great, I was hoping that it was a different version. I have a son shipping off to Afghanistan soon, along with a high school friend whom I'm giving the units to along with a red diffuser and lanyard, via www.jtice.com ..... would not want to give them something unreliable.

I have purchased three Fenix models thus far, LD01, E01, P1D (2) and find them, (particularly the P1D) to be excellent values, now looking for a IR Strobe.
