Fenix PD20 reflector: still no good

I guess it is all how one looks at the light that the Fenix gives. I have been using my PD20 for at least 1/2 year and I love it. I do see the rings on a white wall but it never bothered me, I can see that other people have different expectations. For example I also have the L2D-CE premium Q5 but I never use it because I do not like the way it looks. The light is fine but I rather use any of my other Fenixes than that one.

Should Fenix's defect really be called a ring? It seems to me like the defect in my new Fenix's, and CrazyCarl's, is more of a slight void around the hotspot, not the sharp lines seen in other "ringy" lights. yuk's is more ringy, but still not bad IMHO.

I wouldn't call this a defect. This is a typical beam you will get with XR-E and smooth reflector.
