Fenix Twistie/Clickie Question

I'm considering the purchase of the Fenix L2D-CE. My preference would be a twistie switch over the clickie type. Will my Fenix L2-P twistie work on the L2D-CE & visa versa?

Which twistie are you refering to? As far as I know, the L2P is a clickie also (at least mine is). I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the tail will fit the L2D body, different threads. If you wanted to, you could use your L2D as a twisty, just click it on and then twist it off/on. Dont know how the the different levels would be affected though. Might work fine as long as you're under the 2seconds limit.

All the Fenix L series have the same tailcap switch, also you need the momentary
switch to toggle through the low, med, high and Strobe modes
