OK...not too exciting, but at least I made everything this time...

Cree XR-E, coupled to a FLuPIC...

In the end, it will have a single cell 123a tube, with a Kroll switch...I've officially given up on finding McClicky switches, and the boot caps, sold at the same location, at the same time...

This is the second, and final version...It's all new, again...:ohgeez: The first head was about .115" too long, and I wanted a dedicated cell tube...

This light has a very sticky grip...I went deep with the cut pattern on the tube, and added a few extra rotations to the knurled rings, on the head.

Ti actually knurls very cleanly...no swarf, but it's difficult to get a true pointed knurl pattern...but I prefer this look, and feel, compared to a correct knurl. The corners of each diamond, curl up nicely, and it's just hooky enough, without being so aggressive that it catches on fabric.

Scott - are my eyes playing tricks on me, or does the head look longer than the heads you normally see?

Awesome work by the way - I'm a huge supporter of a TB original light!

No tricks...it's much longer.

The module is pretty tall, and the McR19XR is a long reflector...The next head will be .150" to .200" shorter.

Scott, in front of me I have a package with 4 rubber boots and 4 switches. I have more switches but I can`t find boots to go with them.:ohgeez: I think and should have more boots somewhere??? and I will dig around for them. I have a whole lot(a really REALLY WHOLE LOT:grin2: ) of flashlight parts that are not organized very well... or actually not at all.:twak: For now, the set of 4 is yours if you want it and I can mail today so let me know.:)

Ken

EDIT: Dang, I almost forgot!:nana: :lolsign:

Where is here?

The Shoppe shows 0 <---That represents zero, this means they're out, none to be had.

The TNC Super Store...had more boots than switches.

I think I'll stick to the original plan, and use up my remaining Kroll switches.

Now that is pretty. There's just something about bare shiny silver metal that makes these things look magestic.

It looks like a Lightsaber :)
