I love all my old lights. Thanks for sharing this post. Made me smile for once instead of wanting to smash my phone through the wall.

Keep a saved search on eBay. NOS is still out there in old dusty storerooms and warehouses. I'm constantly amazed what turns up. I'm a great advocate of pre-1960's lights as usually the reflectors and build are above what came later as then they were a premium product with limited battery power so they pulled out all the stops. This makes me want to buy some lights that are made earlier than the 70s. I have a repro light that is 60s era but it is too modern. If only there was NOS lights of these.
