Found this at my local WalMart for $2.95 -
which I thought was pretty inexpensive -
The LED is somewhat blue/purple tinted but pretty bright - similar to those 40Kmcd LED, also similar (perhaps slightly less) to the bright white "frauxton" keychain (coin cell) lights given away by LightHound a year or so back.
The LED clicks on with the lower switch - the red Laser is momentary on the upper button.
Comes with a spare set of LR44 button cells.
Construction seems like all metal.
Magnetic base is pretty strong and will hold the light horizontally without much problems.
It was not in the flashlight section -
but on a display stand with other cheap flashlights near the checkouts.
