For the Canadians: Monster AA 2850MaH cheap at Princess Auto

Princess Auto in Canada are advertising Monster Powercell 2850MaH AA alkaline batteries in a pack of 8 for $3.88CAD.

These last longer than Durcells in my Seoul Ellys, so I picked up several packs of them.

The title says "2850mAh" but the post says "1850mAh"

Anyways, they sound interesting.

I don't know if i'd actually plunk down 4 bucks for 8 AA alkaline, even if they were really good, because I can plunk down just double that (8 bucks) and get 50 AA alkaline.

Walwart has the "Maxell" branded AA alkalines for just over 8 bucks for a 48 pack and sometimes you can get the "Memorex" branded AA for a 8 bucks for a 50 pack.

Even if they didn't last as long you can just swap out new batteries.

The only downside is the toll on the environment and perhaps less capacity.

Other than that i'd just pick up some Eneloops for just under 13 bucks for 4 AA and reuse them over and over and over ...
