runs on 2 x 3aa to 1d converters for a total of 6aa. lasts approx 1hr on full(3 leds). tested with duracell 2650 nimh's. longer with the other modes. glass lens in the front. each led looks like a l2d on turbo then multiply by 3. i'm guessing approx 300-400 lumens.
body does heat up but it is normal and an indicator of good heatsinking to the body.
