I received mine and have tried it in 2 old splunking lights, it works great. Wish I had these bulbs 20 years ago.

I was hoping to stick one in a really nice 30's flashlight, which probably cost less than a buck, but I didn't win it, so, for now, one's in a 40+ year old flashlight, which probably cost a buck or two, and the other's in some old military flashlight. I've got some nice 50's flashlights coming, so at least one of these will going in one of them.

Yes, all the P4everLEDs I sent out are the newer reverse polarity protected models. A way to tell if your EverLED is reverse polarity protected is to look for a white dot on the base of the bulb where its written "LED.EVER". The dot is at the end of LED. So if the batteries are inserted with the wrong polarity, the magic smoke will not come out
