While waiting for a m@glite 2C to come on the mail, I thought I'd try to improve my Fulton light I got in basic training ages ago. I threw in an ROP54 lo & 2 18650's and it was a real night and day difference. I had to cut the spring down and pack some aluminum foil in the tail. The reflector is metal but unfortunately the lens is plastic. Not sure how long that lens will last. I can't wait to take this baby to work tomorrow!

I like the Fulton a lot but wasn't sure of my ability to do a good mod, so I picked up a pair customized by Electrolumens - his Anglelux XPG at 130+ lumens for 24 hour runtime to 50% on 2 D alkaline cells. This is a rugged light that will always be ready to go.

Wow, those look sweet! Serious run time keeps the fulton true to its mission too. Nice!

Awesome! I have always wanted a Fulton, never got around to buying one.:mecry:

I've been using a Fulton knockoff with ROP-low for a while, on and off. Makes a very effective shoulder-light when strapped to backpack straps with Velcro ties.

The old-fashioned, dirt-simple Fulton has a lot going for it. Six Eneloops in $3 worth of Kai AA-D serial adapters driving a Magnum Star would be absolutely worth doing, if I could find a 6D Magnum Star.
