Gerber Ultra M

Just got one & love it. This one has a polycarbinate glass lens to protect the led bulb. In serching I read that one of the dislikes was no protection for the led. Anyone know when Gerber changed over to the polycarbonate lens? Thanks!

Do you have a picture? I've never heard of a Ultra M with lense. Where did you get it?

Sorry can't do pictures. Got it from Amazon. The other Gerber Infiniy Ultra non M I have has the led exposed but, recessed. I guess Gerber is now putting a lens protective cover on now for the Militay version.

The picture of the Infinity Ultra-M on the Gerber site shows the NVG version, but you can see what looks like a lens behind the ring.

I've looked at images of the white LED version on Amazon, and it also has the protective ring and lens.

Thanks Black Rose! I might add that Gerber sent me two O rings gratis in one week after emailing them. Sounds like they try to take care of their customers!
