Thread title indicates that this is a Maxlite II and not the Extreme.

I believe the Extreme is the newer brighter version.

It's supposed to be a 'Super S Bin' Lux I emitter. :shrug:

Sorry I don't know how easy/difficult it would be to mod but here's a thread I found where someone modded his.

Great light

Its easy to mod to a seul, no reflector sanding or anything. Just raise the led slightly and bend down the leads.

Just used 2 ( 2.15mm x 0.8mm x 20mm ) "Flat Rectangular" Tritium Vials from Merkava & filled the slots with Norland 61.
