I'm not sure exactly what you need but Newegg.com has good prices on electronic stuff. I have bought a replacement camera battery there in the past.

but i really dont know what to choose...
i thinking of some l-ion maby?
i dont know :\

Apparently the camera takes 4 x AA batteries.

For disposable batteries you can try Energizer Lithium. These are a little expensive but will work well for occasional camera use.

For regular camera use you need good quality rechargeable NiMH batteries and a suitable charger. Many people on this forum recommend the Sanyo eneloop. If you cannot find those the Duracell PreCharged 2000 mAh "made in Japan" battery is an equivalent. A good charger to get for your batteries is the Duracell Mobile charger. Sometimes you can buy this charger with the recommended batteries included in the package.

Avoid any kind of alkaline battery. These do not have enough power for big digital cameras.

thank you verry much mr happy :)
i live israel so i cant find the enelop maby i will order it from ebay ...

ok i got the enelops i think i will go with the Duracell Mobile charger it is a good charger? i see the sanyo charger is it good to ?

actually its a very nice price ..
thank you very much for the help much appreciated you are great man :)
btw im surfing here alot but not have any question until now lol..
thats batterys will be good also for my l2d so i will order some more ..
on last question - you have tips to charge the enelops on the Duracell Mobile charger?

The most important thing about charging eneloops (and all other NiMH batteries) is to recharge them before they are completely flat and stop working. The easiest way to damage batteries is to discharge them too much, especially in a device like the L2D that has two or more batteries in series.

and how long i need to chrage em on the first time and how much in the other times
:D
Eneloops come pre-charged, so you can use them straight away. When they need charging you just put them in the charger and the lights will turn green when they are charged. That's all you have to do.

This is probably not that helpful, but...

You need to charge them all the way, but not discharge them all the way.

If you discharge a cell too far in a multi-cell device such as a camera, it can reverse polarity (and permanently damage) the cell.

You apparently have made your choice but I bought 4 of the Radio Shack 2000 amp hr 15 minute rechargeables and the proper charger for my fuji S1000 and am very pleased with their performance and longevity and lightning recharges for this camera.

You will find many people have reservations about 15 minute chargers. They put stress on the batteries by charging them so rapidly, which tends to lead to a lower number of recharges before the batteries wear out and need replacing.

With the alternative of using batteries like eneloops you can keep extra batteries charged and on standby, allowing you an instant swap if the batteries in your camera run out. Eneloops will hold their charge for months while being stored (or while sitting in the camera), meaning that recharging does not need to happen at lighting speed.

I have been averaging 90 to 120 images per charge over the span of 60 to 75 days per charge. I am showing a lot of the images on the LCD screen to family after taking the shots. I have quite a few to download after over 4 months away from my puter. On the plus side I have a good collection of memory cards now LOL not that any of the 8 gb cards are filled to the max.

Maybe the Fuji is a particularly heavy battery drainer, but many camera users have obtained 500+ pictures from a set of 4 x AA rechargeables. 90-120 seems very low indeed.

having been in the hospital on 3 separate occasions since purchasing this latest fuji it has been in forced storage for up to a month tween seeing activity. IMO two recharges in 6 months is satisfactory battery life considering they are being drained even idle to maintain memory in camera. Actually I do believe the S1000 fuji is a battery hungry tool considering how much I am playing with the settings just trying to become familiar with its operation. one down side is one must flip the flash open manually in order to use it while the previous 2 were automatic operation of the flash when it was needed/required.

the fuji its a battery hungry i diggitt :D
but 90-120 its ok not super great but i can live with it ..i use to take some 40 pics and the battery die lol .
thanks for you comments guys you jave been very helpul for me .
cheers
