Good free XP file indexing and search program?

Well as the title suggests, what is a good Windows XP file index and search program? You know, the kind that index all your hard drive files so when you do a search for a file, document, etc., it finds it in a jiffy instead of the several minutes the windows default search takes.

The new windows search engine is quite nice. I've not tried Googles is a while and have always had problems with it in the past.
However like MSFT they tend to do it over until they get it right.
