Got a Night-Ops Falcata 6V

I bought the best man in my wedding party a 6V Falcata back in the summer as a gift and I of course tried it out before I gave it to him and I loved it. He's getting married tommorrow and he just gave me one, complete with my name engraved in it. I love this thing. I just compared it to my older 6P with the round body and it puts out noticably more light and much better beam quality. This thing is great. Built like a tank. Now I'll have a Gladius and a Falcata on my duty belt. I think this light is overlooked as theres not much talk about it. The quality is fantastic. Now I'll have to resist the urge not to buy the 9V version.

I have a Falcata 6V and agree the quality is great. I think the main disdvantage is there are limited choices I you want to use higher output lamps, rechargable batteries LED drop ins etc.

I have worked out one mod that greatly increases the output. I use the Lamp from a Falcata 9V and 2 x protected 3.7v R123 batteries. Much brighter than the 6V lamp and runtime is about 25 Mins.
