Got my fivemega reflector yesterday.

It wont fit the D-cell I bought it for because I have a terralux unit in it. It ALMOST makes it. I mean like a mm or less.

Is there a safe way to open the bulb opening? Or save the terralux?

It is a great reflector, much better than I thought it would be. Right now I have it in a 3 C cell with a MAG LED and it works just awesome....sure would like to get it installed in the 3 D though.........

Well, if you are careful, you can probably drill it out a bit, but you won't get much improvement in lumen with the new reflector. If you got the textured, you would have a smoother beam though.
