Green light

I need a long throwing light with a green colored beam. I first thought about LED's, but they are too limited in power. Has anyone tried putting a green lens on a hotwire? How well did it work? Where could I find a green glass lens to fit a D sized head? Thanks in advance.

The Fulton flashlight used to come with a set of colored lenses. This is the old-style right-angle military flashlight. It takes standard D cells.
