GS Nichia 5mm photons ?

I know I've read about the new GS's somewhere but the search function hates me so here it is. Does anyone out there have a new white Photon with a GS series bulb? I was told by a rep that they are using the GS now but that there is "no way to know without a side-by-side". From what I've read about the GS Arc's the bulbs are longer and skinnier than the DS. Does anybody have a really new Photon that they think might be a GS and if so, what do you think of it? Thanks

I had a sample bag of Nichia NSPW500GS-K1 LEDs. They had a horrid squarish beam with too much blue. I'd stick with DS, in a light that doesn't overdrive them. I gave mine away to a friend to make walkway accent lights.

I certainly hope LRI never put a GS in the Photon line. For what I've seen with the GS in the ARC-AAA, I have no desire to ever own a GS-based light.
