from the look of the picture and the symptoms described, doesnt sound like chicken pox. i had chicken pox when i was 26 years old, and the symptoms werent that bad. i hope 3rd_shift is doing ok. he does look bad in that picture /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

Were you by chance exposed to any strange chemicals at work?

The dry, scratchy, swolen throat symptoms maks me guess some sort of streptococcal infection as well. Not too sure about the spots though. Could simply be how your body decided to react to this particular strain. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

I'm back.
I want to personally thank everyone for thier support to me here. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm still recovering now with the help of antibiotics and small nutritious meals.
Much of my color has come back.
I'm still sick, but not like in the pic in the 1st post.
