Halogen canister light upgrate

Hi all,

I'm after some help, I have a 50W Halcyon canister torch (test tube style light) which I would like to upgrade to 35w HID.

I know that my existing torched head would not be suitable for modifying to HID, so I'm just looking for anywhere that I could purchase a replacement HID sized lighthead with a 35w HID bulb/balast or the space to accomodate at 35w bulb/balast which I could purchase seporately.

If no one sells a HID upgrade would the next option be to purchase an old 10w HID torch/lighthead and upgrade it to 35w HID.

Head 35W with ignitior (you must put ballast in tank)= 653€ , as I see bulb is Brightstarr , good and cheap but color is at BS normaly bit yellow .
But you have to get ballast and proper wiring because working voltage is 95V DC....

You just cut off connector and switch it to your canister

If you want simple way and use existing reflector but NOT HID use LED upgrade ATONI or ATON II

BTW:
It is not so simple convert some lamp special HID from one form to another special test tube style. Reason which you must account is :
- size ballast
- size ignitior
- reflector size
- reflector focus
- bulb socket
- bulb size
- test tube
if you here don't have experiences..... than :wave:

simpliest and safest way to get 35W HID is in DIY waters :

- buying used clasic lamp with cylindrical body (keep reflector)
- instal cylindrical combo (ballast , ignitior , bulb) can find in sticky-
